How do I access my email on the web?

Access your "webmail" at www.yourdomain.com/webmail.  Of course, replace "yourdomain.com" with your actual domain.

How do I access my control panel?

Access your control panel at www.yourdomain.com/cpanel.  Cpanel is the most common control panel with loads of features.  You can set up special scripts to run shopping carts, real estate sites, hosting sites, etc.  You will also find all your email features here.

When will the search engines list my website?

The search engines will take anywhere from 1 week to 3 months to list your website after we submit your pages.

Can I edit my own website?

Yes, you can edit your website using any HTML editor and ftp program such as Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, etc. 

What website publishing program is the best?

For beginners, I would suggest MS FrontPage.  It is fairly easy to use with lots of pre-installed website templates.  For the more experienced who would like precise editing, I would suggest Dreamweaver.

Who needs server extensions?

Actually, FrontPage will work quite well without the server extensions. But in order to use the "publish" feature and any item found within the "components" list such as Table of Contents, Forms, Hit Counter, etc., server extensions are necessary. If you are using FrontPage, it just makes sense to take advantage of all it has to offer and turn on your FP extensions in your control panel.
